Job Summary: American Express is seeking a diligent and organized Virtual Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our team. This is a part-time, work-from-home position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage email correspondence and respond promptly to inquiries.
* Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for team members.
* Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries.
* Assist with document preparation, including reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.
* Conduct research and compile data as needed.
* Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and organizing documents.
* Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven experience as a virtual assistant or administrative assistant.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
* High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.
Working Hours:
* Part-time position, approximately 20-25 hours per week.
* Flexible scheduling to accommodate work-from-home arrangements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Familiarity with virtual communication tools such as Zoom, Skype, and Microsoft Teams.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently.
* Understanding of basic accounting principles is a plus.
