Small but well-known consulting business in need of an administrative assistant to the owner...
ACS is a woman-owned company that specializes in building and supporting programs to help Elders and people with disabilities in indigenous and Tribal communities live as independently as possible. Our focus is on supporting Tribal Nations in aspects of federal and state policy and program administration for Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) within the Medicaid Waiver system. Our work has included Native Alzheimer's and Dementia training/programs, Caregiver supports, Adult Protective Services and more.
This position reports to and directly supports the founder/CEO, who is in need of the following:
Email and communication management
Scheduling support
Travel arrangement
Other duties include assistance in daily office management tasks (virtual) such as maintaining online files/forms and assisting the executive finance admin.
The ideal hire is a problem solver who can work independently to solve administrative problems that arise, rather than just bringing them to the company's attention.
The hours are flexible but some key tasks will need to be done during our office hours (9 am to 4 pm CST M-F), to ensure timely responses to clients and staff.
