Responsibilities
• Transcribing depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Processing audio recordings to create verbatim transcripts while adhering to style guides.
• Working with legal terminology and maintaining excellent grammar throughout the transcripts.

Requirements
• Previous experience in court reporting, scoping, or legal transcription.
• Exceptional listening skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in grammar, spelling, and comprehension.
• Comfort collaborating remotely and processing challenging audio/text content.
• Ability to pass a background check and familiarity with legal terminology.
• Students in court reporting programs will also be considered.
• Applicants from Massachusetts and California are currently not eligible.

Equipment Requirements
• High-speed internet connection.
• Computer or laptop.
• Quality noise-canceling headphones.
• Windows 10 operating system.
• Antivirus program with daily updates (Except Webroot antivirus).
• Infinity Foot Pedal (recommended).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
