In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the preparation and analysis of financial records for a diverse portfolio of clients. This part-time position offers the flexibility of working days and hours tailored to your personal schedule. Although currently office-based, there is potential for transitioning to a hybrid or fully remote arrangement after an initial training period of three months.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct bookkeeping and bank reconciliation for a variety of clients.
Analyze and prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements.
Prepare, submit, and ensure timely payment of monthly and quarterly sales tax reports.
Innovate and implement new processes to improve operational efficiency.
Collaborate closely with the CPA to ensure effective communication of client information.
Required Skills
Prior experience in accounting or a related discipline.
Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online is crucial.
Competence in Microsoft Excel at a moderate level is required.
Detail-oriented mindset with a strong emphasis on meeting deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Qualifications
Previous experience in bookkeeping or accounting is essential.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
