In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the necessary prescription coverage. Initially, your responsibilities will involve managing incoming faxes, transitioning to handling phone inquiries within a supportive call center environment. Please note that candidates must reside in Massachusetts as per company policy. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.75, with an initial month of onsite training before transitioning to a remote work setup.
Key Responsibilities
Process incoming faxes containing critical information from providers, patients, and medications.
Verify the completeness of required information, including dates of birth and medication dosages.
Conduct follow-ups with providers to obtain any missing information.
Accurately input data to confirm prescription coverage.
Manage approximately 20 inbound calls daily to verify and gather essential information.
Required Skills
A minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service role, preferably within a call center.
Exceptional attention to detail combined with strong communication abilities.
Proficient in managing tasks related to both fax and phone communications.
A proactive attitude towards learning and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
Residents of Massachusetts are required for this position.
Proven experience in customer service is essential.
Strong organizational and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.
